You can prepare a mixture of lemon juice with a few drops of olive oil. Use a cotton ball to rub the mixture on the nails and afterwards carefully polish with a fine file.

If your nails are beginning to yellow, a chamomile bath may help. Add a few spoons of dry chamomile blossom to two cups of hot water and let brew for 20 minutes. Dip your nails in for about 10-15 minutes. This procedure should be done three times a week. Combine with lemon juice rubs for best results.
A salt bath is easy to prepare and it has a very beneficial effect. Dissolve a few teaspoons of sea salt in warm water and dip your fingertips in for 10-15 minutes. You can optionally add some lemon juice to the water or a few drops of essential oil.
Rose water is widely used in the cosmetic industry. It can also be used in such cases for brightening the nails. Combine 40ml of rose water with 10 grams of glycerin and 50ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Mix well and use a cotton ball to rub mixture on the nails.
